From Panic in Pelham to peddle boat in Pelham, Oak Mountain has been a common theme throughout my life.

The first tent camping trip I can remember with my parents was at Oak Mtn. Now as a dad I’ve bright my kiddos there also and decided to do what my dad wouldn’t allow…peddle boat’n. After an intense 2 hour calve workout, I now know why he never said yes.

While I miss the “grass lot” when I think of concerts in my life I think of Oak Mtn. Guilty 90s jam band fan here that saw DMB tease Sweet Home Alabama into Ants Marching in 98. One Phish show I witnessed a meteoroid. So many good tunes and hard times getting back on 65.

Oak Mtn….keep on keepin’ on.
